Richard shared this video on his YouTube Channel this morning, from a T.V. interview he did in 2013 in which he goes over his time on Top Gear, memories from his first day, his interview for the position, his kids, and more. It's certainly a sentimental feeling interview, especially now that Top Gear as most of us know it has died.
While the video is not the greatest quality, it still completely conveys the absolute passion Hammond had for Top Gear, how he was a fan of the original show growing up, his career and audition for the show, his friends, and his family. It's the type of video that really shows what kind of guy he his, and why so he has so many enthusiastic fans.
